This feature will land on android very soon as compared to IoS.
Those users who are not aware of Boomerang feature on Instagram this function essentially allows you to loop a video backward and forward endlessly you can say kinda GIF.
WhatsApp's Boomerang feature might be available in the video type panel.
There's no such release date for the feature, but it will be trickling down to the public beta programs first before being rolled out to everyone.
